The Shoreline School of Montessori educates children who are 3 - 6 years of age. Mixed age groupings enable children to learn from one another and because of one another. Younger children get a chance to look ahead by watching the older children. Older children have the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge by sharing with the younger students. In order to be eligible for admission, a child must be 3 years of age by December 31 of the admitting year and independent in the process of toileting. A child remains in the montessori classroom through kindergarten.
